Blurb:
Once, Sarah Bingham's biggest challenge was making her students pay attention in class. Now, after rescuing a wounded stranger, she's landed in the middle of a battle between corrupt vampires and powerful immortals who also need blood to survive. Roland Warbrook is the most compelling man Sarah has ever laid hands on. But his desire for her is mingled with a hunger he can barely control. . .

In his nine centuries of immortal existence, no woman has tempted Roland as much as Sarah. But asking her to love him is impossible--when it means forfeiting the world she's always known, and the life he would do anything to protect. . .

Review:
I have had this book sitting and waiting for a long time, not sure why I waited so long to read it but I could kick myself for not reading it sooner. This book was amazing, though it did remind me of a certain other series that I love so much but that didn't bother me in the least.

I found the story enjoyable as well as the characters, though who can never get enough of sexy immortals. My problem is who is my favorite. I love Roland, but then there is Marcus and Seth as well as David, oh and I can't forget Bastien. So many to choose from. Sorry got a bit off track.

Now what was I talking about. Oh yea, the characters, Roland, broody and antisocial, until he meets Sarah, who turns his world completely upside down. I really love Sarah, to me she felt really human and the writer did a wonderful job in not making her too whiny but just right. She is strong but scared at the same time. And who can blame her she was thrown into a world that she never knew existed.

What I did like was the uniqueness with how vampires and immortals were made. It's hard to find a unique premise to the vampire lore and this one had at that for me at least.

Overall this book was a delight to read, it had action, romance, steamy smex, drama and funny moments. I would definitely recommend to anyone that loves what I mentioned above. I will definitely be continuing on in this series.
